There aren’t that many buildings in Tasmania that are 3 stories plus in height. In the unfortunate circumstance that you live next door to one however, your nerves and preparedness to spend some time outdoors will benefit by planting some Fusca. Whilst retaining all the benefits of Gracilis, this guy can provide that extra metre or two of vertical screening.
To achieve the extra height, your garden would need to enable a bed of 2mtr wide for Fusca to reach its potential, though a bed of one metre would successfully host the plant. The trade off would, as with all footprint reductions, be a smaller plant that won’t achieve its potential height. Please ask for ideal spacing to suit your personal circumstances.
Fusca grows straight up and matures to a bushy, beautiful screen that will solve most suburban privacy issues in 2-4yrs depending on site and preparation (advanced plants available for faster screens). As always, consult our growing and maintenance guides which will be supplied with your purchase.
